African American Liaison Advisory
Janesville, WI
ABOUT US
The Janesville African American Liaison Advisory committee was started in March 2017 by chief of police David Moore. It was the goal of Chief Moore to work with the African American community in Janesville, to bring peace, and a sense of trust between the Janesville Police department and the African American community.
In the year that AALAC has been together, the group has done extensive training on gun control, excessive force, mental illness, and the many factors that go into handling 9-1-1 calls. Group members have been on ride alongs to see what a officer does during their patrol.
